Flying is mainly done in the Alpstein. With the Kronberg, Ebenalp and Hoher Kasten launch sites, we have a good starting point for many different weather conditions. If you have a desired location where you would like to fly, just get in touch with me. I would be happy to try to make it possible for you.

Start mountain

You can experience a lot at the Kronberg valley station. It is the starting mountain, with an altitude of 1657 m.a.s.l., for beautiful tandem flights. The mountain peak is only around 4.5 km north of the Säntis and you have a breathtaking view of an impressive mountain backdrop. This take-off mountain is mainly used in westerly weather conditions. Longer flights are almost always possible here if the weather is suitable. The landing site is located directly at the valley station behind the high ropes course.

Start mountain

Aescherwand, who doesn't know you… If you don't know you and especially if you haven't flown past here yet, you've come to the right place. Ebenalp is one of the mountains where you can almost always fly. Due to the central location of the 3 launch sites, at around 1600 m, the almost English lawn at the launch site offers a great launch route for flying in all directions. Be it past the Aescherwand, a traverse to Alp Siegel or on to the Hoher Kasten and back. In very good thermal conditions it is even possible to fly to the Säntis. The landing site is at the end of the road by the large parking lot.

Start mountain

The highest starting mountain of the 3 mountains where a special view is offered. You start your flight at around 1700m. Normally the flight starts with a view towards Säntis, but in the fall when the Alpstein is covered with high fog or there is an easterly weather situation, a start into the Rhine Valley is possible here. The landing site is located near the valley station.
